Normally I agree with you OVN, but this time you're incorrect. Your ideal scenario about him being tried is not possible with somebody as powerful as him, who didn't have anybody in the known galaxy capable of keeping him held captive. For all we know, he was fully capable (if not more so since he had so much time to train between RotS and RotJ) of slaughtering Jedi as he was in Revenge of the Sith.

The Sith that are that powerful really cannot be kept alive. Ask Mace Windu; he'll tell you all about it.

I do recall there being a stand-in for "Dex" though, but it might have just been a normal guy or a cardboard cutout or something. Definitely didn't help him out though considering how big the character ended up being.

There wasn't a stand-in, there was a proper AC-TOR cast in the role who voiced Dex and acted across from Ewan. His performance gave the animators lots of ideas for the character like Dex's awkward walk, the way he heaves himself onto the seat etc.

The movies start with the idea that it happen a long time ago in a far far away galaxy with guys who can jump 600 feet in the air using a secret thing call the Force and filled with rubber puppets that act humans and not alien like. I don't believe trying to analyse these stories too much is good for one's mental health

I only tried to say that when scenes are being dubbed over in poland it might indicate that there are some all new scenes which are being dubbed in some countries. I´m happy for anything that indicates that more work is done on the movies before they are released on Blu-Ray. I´d really like to see (hear) all stormtrooper voices replaced by Temuera Morrison.

On further Special Editions:
Wouldn´t anyone including those people intolerant to the Special Edition like to see the the revision or enhancement of the movies being finished now that all six are out. Maybe redo Sy Snootles in RotJ, maybe even reincorporate the original Song, enhance backgrounds, etc ...
What I´m trying to say is... with todays technology it would be possible to finish the Special Edition in a proper way. Nobody likes to see it halfway when it could be done to the end! I mean the Special Edition was done in 1997... effects and technology has really evolved since then.

That's what I want and expect from the BD release!

Clones would be produced over and over. Why wouldn´t one think the Troopers aren´t clones? They is no mention of them not being clones in the Saga.

That further explains the line "Aren´t you a little short for a stormtrooper?"

That only gives us reason to assume that Stormtroopers have to have a certain height, just like flight attendants for example.
