Do we know if the Laserdisc transfers of the OUT are being included in the complete saga set?

It's a 9-disc set. There isn't a 2nd disc for each feature.

Oh internet you never cease to embarass yourself.

Wake me up when RLM makes an original film anyone cares about...
So just because they made some other silly videos suddenly means that a well thought out analysis of the Star Wars PT is suddenly null and void?

By that logic, we may as well say that if an actor ever appears in a silly comedy movie or hosts/appears on something like SNL, doing silly things in various skits, that any previous award-worthy dramatic performances that they may have done in movies or on TV should just be ignored and no longer considered valid or worthy of any attention.

I hope that they update the trench runs for A New Hope, too many missing starfighters in some shots

Hi everyone; I've just returned from vacation for a week, thus have missed about 100 pages on this thread. There seems to be a more optimistic tone in recent pages with comments like "Good news about the new transfer!", "I wouldn't be surprised if Han shoots first.", etc. However, I've gone back to previous pages and cannot find any announcements about new transfers or legit reasons to suspect Lucas might revert to previous versions of scenes, etc. Can anyone help out with a summary of what we have learned since August 1st?

Nobody else received email responses from Lucasfilm? Hmm. It's strange that there were so many defenders of the reported email being true, but now there are crickets about that. I'd be happy to see if anyone else has an official response from Lucasfilm, since many of you told me and others that we shouldn't question the authenticity of it and interpret the email as sure sign about specific details of the blu-ray.

This thread has degenerated into the same old argument. H8ers vs. Lucasbots. Upcoming SW magazine doesn't have news about the blu-ray? It seems Lucasfilm wants to keep up hype by maintaining secrecy, which is a sound thing to do.

Regardless of which stance you have, it's clear everybody on here does want to see these discs very badly.

I hate the Alien Anthology packaging, I think I speak for most people when I yell out a huge Jack Bauer "damn it".

Funny how people, other than Breather, ignore this question. Why no follow up on the Lucasfilm emails? Everyone else inquired about the blu-ray to confirm ken's news, but nobody has reported anything. IIRC the response took 3-4 days to arrive. I ask since maybe now is the time people hear back from Lucasfilm (it's been ~1 week). It's quite possible the responses will come soon, but either way I'm curious to know the results.

I doubt they are going to respond to everyone, especially multiple submissions from the same people. I really wouldn't expect them to reply to everyone, and since this board doesn't represent everyone, maybe they have responded to other people. In fact, if someone wants to direct me to their official address, I will try and send a query.

Thanks! Awesome, looks like they will have something about the Collectibles on the discs.

First picture under A New Hope is the unproduced concept costumes Kenner created for the Luke and Leia 12" Dolls.

Yeah, they've been up for a few days along with the X-wing video, but still no 'crossed sabers' to reference .

I saw your question. I posted on Page 942 that I still hadn't heard back from them. I sent the message again yesterday but no response as of yet. Maybe at this point they're going to take the attitude of "you people can wait a month and get your answers then".

Exactly. I saw ROTJ in the theater when I was ten and it was perfectly clear that the ghost was the same face I just saw in the hangar.
