Didn't expect such a response lol. I was never a big horror guy to be clear, I don't even know who Stuart Gordon is. I was always a sci-fi/crime/fantasy guy. I am getting more into horror lately because of Scream and other blu-ray labels, but I find it a very hit-or-miss genre. I was blind-buying a lot of 80's titles for a while there, Dolls among them, but I hated a lot of them so I need to stop.

That's understandable. I assumed you were a big horror fan, I'm fairly new as a consistent poster around here and don't know a lot of the names yet. I'm a huge 70 & 80's horror fan so that falls right into my wheelhouse. Stuart Gordon is the director of genre classics Re-Animator and From Beyond, two of my personal favorite films of the genre. He's also done some other good to great films too, Robot Jox (sci-fi, you might like this one), Dagon (pretty good Lovecraft flick with rough CG) King of the Ants, Stuck and Edmond.

Yup we're all different. I love Re-Animator, I have a soft spot for Frankenstein style movies (and they're half sci-fi anyway). Robot Jox is on my wishlist. Glad you're getting so many release from Scream to enjoy. I'll keep focusing on the ones that lean more sci-fi/thriller.

I have noticed I tend to like slashers more than the spooky/crazy ones though. I really liked Sleepaway Camp and Blood Rage, for example. I might keep my Scream horror blind-buys to well regarded slashers.

It's a far better film than the more popular Puppetmaster.

So happy I managed to score some preorders with that shout sale to catch up a bit again.

Ordered the Poltergeist sequels (which will let me sell off the posters to justify my curiosity), Black Christmas, Rabid, Dreamscape (which will let me sell the posters as a perk for movies I want), Dead of Winter, The House That Screamed, and a few new Shout Selects (Fists of Fury, Chinese Connection, and Live and Die in LA).

And with all that I forgot to pick up Raising Cain again. What a ninny!

Speaking of Dolls why is it up to $17 already with two days of auction to go? I paid $12.99 for it. Crazy town.

Any guesses for tomorrow? On Facebook, Scream said it'll comprise of releases throughout 2017, calling it a "colorful assortment".

I'm going to restrict my guesses to 5 titles:

The Reincarnation of Peter Proud
Arnold
Misery (CE)
Killer Klowns from Outer Space (CE)
Alligator (CE)

Logic - if Scream have Ben and Willard, it suggests they might be able to get the other Bing Crosby titles, which are frequently requested. Killer Klowns and Misery seem like no-brainers. Alligator is apparently no longer with Lionsgate and Jeff has said it's a dream title.

I'd be interested to see if any Universal titles are announced. Since there were no Universal titles among the SDCC announcements I suspect the last deal ran its course, but maybe Scream have since agreed a new deal (Child's Play 2 and 3, Slither, etc).

"colorful assortment" right away made me think of Killer Klowns and Child's Play 2/3.

I think we'll get some from that poll a few weeks ago as well, hopefully on a couple of double features. I really liked when they went double feature crazy in 2015, especially on the types of titles they were doubling up.

A lot of buyers on eBay aren't particularly smart.

That would be pretty amazing - it might be possible depending on the current situation

I can see The Vagrant, Tombs of the Blind Dead, The Angry Red Planet,Alligator, Child's Play 2 and 3, and Trilogy of Terror

I'm hip for The Angry Red Planet, Trilogy of Terror, and if so, Dawn of the Dead. Man, if ONLY they could get The Hitcher.

Whoa what makes you say that? I would like to check out a box set release of this series but I would of thought the rights are still with Blue Underground. Doesn't seem like an announcement Scream Factory would make since they are mostly into well-known horror and Charles Band productions. Though they are releasing The House That Screamed, which is another Spanish film.
