Pioneer vsx -03 Pro's & Con's (opinions) - Blu-ray Forum

guys I'd like your opinion on this receiver.....I am looking for a quality beginning a/r receiver my concerns while researching different models is video processing.....Im going to run my tv,cable HD DVR & sony bluray through the receiver.

whats the story on this receiver ? Thanks

I have this same receiver, with my 3 game systems, bd player, hd cable all running through it, and it handles everything amazingly well. No complaints. Very easy set up. If you go to Magnolia, you can still get one for around $699 I was just there today looking to perhaps upgrade to the 07, because they had those for $1199...a thousand dollars off!!! When I bought my 03, the 07 was $2200. Good luck!

If your sending it via HDMI then there won't be any issues. The video passes right through to your HD set. By the way it's a great receiver!!
