Default Blu-ray regaining the lead at Amazon

So Much for HD DVD's much touted new wave of buyers (from the firesales) coming in effect.
This proves that what really happened is the effect of the one and only BOGO HD DVD has known until know, and the freak effect of Oprah on HD DVD's PE sales:

http://www.eproductwars.com/dvd/

Too many HD DVD fanboys have used those graphs recently to try to sway people saying the tipping point (in their favor) had been reached.
Blu does not need BOGOs to sell all year long (even if a bogo helps against a very strong HD DVD title), wherehas apparently HDVD lives and dies (on charts) by its promotions...

Everything is normal again Blu has a commanding lead.

It is merely restarting, but truth be said Amazon is extending their BOGO until stocks run out

Actually the numbers at eproductwars.com have been off for at least a couple of days as they didn't reflect the results of the recent Fox B1G1 sale. hdgamedb.com typically has more accurate results.

Poor bastards. They can practically smell the stinch of death in the air.

I just checked a little while ago and Amazon's long special of 10 free movies with HD DVD players (3 of which can be chosen by the purchaser and count in the Nielsen numbers) is no longer going on. Not having the 3 free movies push the rankings up would naturally drop HD DVD's average rankings.
