George Lucas working on a Live Action StarWars show/movie? - Blu-ray Forum

There's an interview on the BBC with George Lucas over CLone Wars and near the end of the interview Lucas lets out that he's working on a Live Action StarWars related show/movie with a darker theme to it, he doesn't delve too much into it but he did mention it

i wish the interviewer would ask him about blu-ray :/

If I remember correctly, it takes place after the clone wars and will revolve around bounty hunters.

Never! That's his biggest success and money making machine.
Unfortunately its going down the drain and makes even the original movies lose their magic!

i think at the end of every episode(should the do a live action show) the should have a homage to south park and have an 'omg, the killed Jar Jar!' moment, where he is dispatched in many different ways...

This has been known for a looong time now. I can't wait for some live action Star Wars again though, tired of the animated.

I was hoping to see that in EPIII. Hope we do get to see that eventually.

Thank You... at least someone else knows that as well. Lucas has mentioned this since 2005, 100 episodes yada yada yada. Can some new stuff please be mentioned: How about another Dark Knight thread? or HD-DVD is going to be resurrected with Sony backing it?

The TV show is supposed to be after Revenge of the Sith. Focusing on Vader and Boba Fett.

George talked about the live action TV show back during Celebration 3. He also said it wouldn't include any major characters.
He is also working on a movie called "Red Tails" about the Tuskegee Airmen.
If George wants to keep making Star wars stories I'm all for it.
Can't wait to see Clone Wars next week.

Both series sound great as long as there are no overly annoying characters. If Jarjar or another equally annoying character is going to be tagging along in many episodes in the animated series I may skip the whole dang thing.
