George Lucas working on a Live Action StarWars show/movie? - Blu-ray Forum

There's an interview on the BBC with George Lucas over CLone Wars and near the end of the interview Lucas lets out that he's working on a Live Action StarWars related show/movie with a darker theme to it, he doesn't delve too much into it but he did mention it

i wish the interviewer would ask him about blu-ray :/

If I remember correctly, it takes place after the clone wars and will revolve around bounty hunters.

I am one of the biggest fans of Star Wars to ever breathe, but Luca really needs to stop now. He has taken a beloved culural icon and given it boy band status. I bet we will see entire episode of the TV series devouted to the return of Jar Jar.

George is an idiot. Does he not realize what he is doing? Star Wars is a joke because of all his BS antics, remakes, add ons, additions, changes and blah blah blah.

I wonder if he has a light saber dildo he uses every night. I swear, this man needs to find a new freaking hobby.

There is a live action show coming out. It’s been in the works for a couple of years now. It’s also shrouded in good amount of secrecy.

They said it would probably revolve around a single storm trouper or squad a la Band of Brothers, Generation Kill or Over There.

I'd watch that, provided it's written with some good dialogue.

they should get the battlestar galactica guys to make the show that'd be interesting

id like to see a show based around the jedis... i know "what more jedis?!" but they it doesnt really seem they delve into the jedi world much just those particular jedis

id like to see a Han Solo movie as well

i think at the end of every episode(should the do a live action show) the should have a homage to south park and have an 'omg, the killed Jar Jar!' moment, where he is dispatched in many different ways...
