Was flipping through the channels tonight when I saw AMC was showing Halloween. I tuned in in time for them to announce it is the 30th anniversary of the movie.

I remember standing in a long line to see Star Wars in '78. I was 12 when it was released.

I remember being taken to see the original Star Wars at the movies, I was 8. That is probably some of my earliest memories of going to the movies, don't know what year it would be, but I remember my mother taking me to see one of the "Herbie" movies, along with, wait for it, The Village People in "Can't Stop the Music", I remember the line was huge to get in to see that.

Back in my day we only had one horror movie - Nosferatu - and that was the way we liked it!

lol. I was born in '84, but the original Halloween is my all time favorite horror film as it is my mom's as well.
