Default Mitsubishi 62" DLP problem

I have a 62" Mitsubishi DLP that worked great until the other day. The picture would not come on and the red light for bulb replacement came on.
I pulled the old bulb out and it looked fine, unlike others I have seen that clearly were smoked. I put my replacement bulb in, same thing.

Have any of you had similar issues with a DLP? Any help would be appreciated. I have heard that there were some recalls on some of these TVs.

I have a Mits DLP and I had a problem with it shutting down on me (red light in the front). I found out that it was not getting ventilated good enough and once I Moved it away from the wall it was all set.

Mine is away from the wall and the input filter is cleaned often. When it was working I never noticed any heat.
I think it may be something electrical or the color wheel.
