Default Sony XBR3 vs. XBR4

Can anyone tell me the major differences between the XBR3 and the XBR4? I just decided to pull the trigger on the XBR3 and right before I did, I noticed that the XBR4 is coming out soon and the price is currently the same. Is the XBR4 worth the couple month wait?

Thanks!

The major difference I believe will be 1080/24p, 120Hz support in the new sets. And perhaps a different colored frame ?

YES! it's worth the wait... if you're gonna drop down 3000+ you want the best for it's time... 120Hz will improve HD movies greatly... wait for the XBR4's to come out

I have wondered what the difference really is also. Since i am waiting on the HDMI 1.3 and am planning on buying the 46" model. I've been looing at the xbr4&5 models. Acording to sony's website:

xbr4:
http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/...6636&langId=-1

xbr5:
http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/...3947&langId=-1

The TVs are virtually the same in every aspect. The only real difference is that the xbr5 has 6 months longer warranty, has "RS232 Control
x1 (Home Theater Installation Control Capabilities )", is SLIGHTLY more energy effeciant, and it only comes in piano black. The xbr4 doesn't have those features i just mentioned and has the different removable faceplates feature you can get. Personally i would prefer the xbr4 and put that extra 300 bucks towards some good movies or games i can play/watch on the display.

I just checked the difference between the XBR4 and 5 and could not notice any difference. Why the difference in model and price?

This is the TV I have been waiting for. I am saving for this one. Wonder if I should sell my current TV...

I too am deciding between the XBR4 and XBR5. I checked Sony's website and saw the differences that everyone has mentioned above. But, is it just me, or does the XBR4 look dark gray and XBR5 gloss black? Maybe the 4 is flat black?
