I have a 52xbr3 hooked up to a Pioneer Elite BDP-HD1. The picture is incredible. Even the up scanned standard DVDs look great, but once you watch a Blu-ray movie you never want to go back to watching anything but Blu-ray. Love it, watching Casino Royale tonight.

I have a 60" SXRD-XBR2 and it looks phenominal with PS3 and Blu-Ray. You need to make a few adjustments with the black tones but the TV allows you to have different settings for HDTV, DVD and PS3.
Late at night with the lights out (how I usually watch HD or play PS3) it is absolutely vibrant. However, throw in a BD movie at 2:00 in the afternoon and it will blow you away also. And I agree, once you have BD on a high def TV, you really don't want to watch much anything else. ![]() |
