upgrading.. help please! =] - Blu-ray Forum

I want to upgrade my home theater system.. I was thinking about getting a Pioneer receiver (VSX-94TXH) with some Klipsch speakers (haven't decided which ones yet).. What do you guys think?

Have you listened to the Klipsch speakers, and at least 5 other speakers in their respective price range???? if so, then it sounds like you're all set... if not.... sounds like you need to do some hands-on research (i.e. not a forum popularity contest)

+1. While there are a lot of Klipsch fans in this forum, not everyone is a fan of their sound. Taking the time to audition several different speaker lines will help you figure out what sounds good to you. Visit with some specialty hi-fi shops, not big box shops like Best Buy or Circuit City, and get some knowledgeable suggestions while forming your own opinions. That's what counts in the end, because you'll have to live with your purchase.
