Default Crazy fact about small point of backlight bleeding!

I am confused.. I replaced my A650 again and I got a nice screen, almost no visible clouding).

I really liked it, but, I've got a uhh.. like a point (half an inch) of backlight bleeding on the botton right corner of the screen. The fact is that it really bothers me (when the movie has black labels), but it sundenly (also gradually) disappears after about 20 or 25 minutos. I mean when the panel gets warm I can't even find that annoying bleeding anymore, as if it was never there.

Can someone explain me how is that possible?
It's been a week and I turn on the TV then there it is, a small bleeding, so after 20 minutes where is it? gone! Even If I turn the TV off and on, it doesn't get back, not without turning it off for about an hour or so.

I didn't replace the TV again because it is really a very small bleeding (that goes away after 20 minutes), and I had horrible clouding on the other panels, so I decided to stick with it, but is there any way I can get rid of that for the first 20 minutes? I mean.. forever?

Whatever, as I told you guys it is really small and only noticed from the right sit, but I really 'd like to know why does it disappears.

My first a650 had a lot of backlight bleading and a lot of clouding. This newer one that i have has the exact same issues you have just describe and only on the bottom right corner. I didn't take it back because i figured "what the heck, it's alot better than the first one."

So i guess just deal with it I know that isn't the answer you want, but what happens when you take this one back and get another one that has even more issues. My set also has a very slight amount of sparkle when totally black, dosn't bother me at all though...

I think I would take it back. Thats just me.

Also it seems that lots of people are having issues with the 650 series. Maybe trade up for the 750, or downgrade to the 550, there just doesn't seem to be as any issue with them.

Yeah I guess I understand you, this my 4th A650, not a single one without at least a single little issue related to backlight bleeding and clouding. I also had a bad experience with the Sony W4100, always clouding or bleeding.

I met a guy that replaced his TV 14 times.. untill he just acepted one with minor bleeding or clouding (though it was a 32", not 52), the guy is nutts!

Have you considered going a different route? Maybe a different display technology?

Where I live we have not as many options as in the US market.

The best LCD we have is the Sammy A650 and the Sony W4100.
And the best Plasma we have is the Panasonic PZ800.

I'd have taken the Pioneer Elite Kuro PRO-111, Samsung A950 (LED) or the Sony XBR8 TriLum (RGB LED), but as I said, I had no choice because Panasonic 24p sucks, and there's no A950 or XBR8 here.

Oh, I see. That's too bad.
