Thursday - look over the deals in our local paper with my wife, then that morning we usually head to breakfast, plan our route and get our shopping done for for family that day. Looking forward to it

Best Buy reps dressed like Robo-cop wandered the consumer line-up advising that NUMBERED CERTIFICATES had already been distributed for discounted items to those who had camped out a week before the holiday. With my tail shriveled up from the cold and tucked between my ankles, I called Triple A on my cellphone to get a JUMP START to fire up my frozen car-battery, start my cryogentic engine, and I wandered off to my local McDonald's to buy a hot coffee and a dried-out McSausage and Egg biscuit. As I watched the sun rise over the eastern horizon, I wondered to myself... WHY???! Why did I wake up at 2 am to get to Best Buy at 3 am only to find out that the LIMIT 10 PER STORE Black Friday Sale was already SOLD OUT?!!!! I was so exhausted that I nearly passed out under the Golden Arches in Mickey Dee's parking lot.

From that day forward, I VOWED to the turd-wiper of Jabba The Hutt's underpants: I would never, ever go shopping the day after Thanksgiving EVER AGAIN!

Ever since it has been like I discovered the fountain of youth. Stay home the day after Thanksgiving. Watch BDs, be with family and friends, make love to the one you love, have a few cocktails... re-lax!!!!!! There will be another sale the next day... and the day after that.

Like Dorothy said in The Wizard of Oz: "There's no place like home (click, click, click...) There's no place like home (click, click, click... )"

I do everything in my power to avoid leaving the house for anything. I will wear shredded underwear and use banana stickers to shore up holes in my socks before I will wander out into that madness.

Replacing the passenger side front wheel bearing on my car. Did the drivers side last summer and it was a barrel of fun. I expect no less from this one.

We get it off here but we have to work MLK day.

I will be going to Best Buy but not for the door busters. I'm going later in the day. I'm also hopeful I may get in on that Amazon PS3 deal.

I had to force my wife to go with me to the movies when it was playing. She thanked me for having her go because she loved it.

Generally, I find that people who watched Saturday morning cartoons will love it. It takes you back to those morning sitting ont he couch with your favorite cereal.

I plan on getting pretty wasted on Thanksgiving so I may not wake up until 12pm for shopping.
