Wink Yoda Says............

A Jedi must have the deepest commitment the most serious mind. This one a long time have I watched. All his life he has looked away...to Black Friday sales, to waking up at 2:00am to the future, to the horizon. Never his mind on where he was. Hmm? What he was doing. Hmph. Adventure. Heh Excitment. Heh. A Jedi craves not these things. YOU are reckless !

I'm sure I'll get up and go somewhere just to get out of the house for a little while. BUT, I will NOT be getting up at 2 am to try and beat the doorbusters. Those folks is crazy insane for getting in all that panic . I'd rather sleep in and pay full price or order online. Black Friday is just a spectator sport for me.

Maybe Hollywood should make a Black Friday horror movie similar to 28 days/weeks later. Crazed and enraged shoppers slaughtering each other for the hot holiday items...LOL

I'm going out to watch people trample all over each other and completely destroy the Christmas spirit.

...and meet some friends for a nice Italian lunch like we do every Black Friday.

I have never gone shopping on Black Friday, and have no plans to start. I worked Black Friday at Sears in 2002 when I was in college and actually found it somewhat enjoyable. Although I was a hardware associate we all just stood at registers and rung people up the whole time. If anyone needed help they were pretty much out of luck as we only had one associate who was only helping people and not ringing people up. I made about $30/hour that day and it was never boring. I'd take that over a slow day in March anytime.
Now I work in a construction office and still find Black Friday one of my favorite days of the year. Not many customers or suppliers work that day so it is quiet and not at all stressful.

Will Smith has a habit of showing up at the King of Prussia mall in SE PA on Black Friday. He has been there a couple times, but I have never seen him

Hmm I was actually considering going shopping this Black Friday for the first time ever just because I am not going to be home for Thanksgiving and thought it would be a good chance - but in the back of my mind I knew it would be torture. This thread just convinced me

Plus if the sales do not put the retailers in the black. We can expect even more price cuts AFTER Christmas !

I think I am with the majority and I too will also be staying home. I have the entire week off and I have been checking store sites to see look at their ads to see what they are putting on sale. Most of the Blu's I already have and everything else I have no desire to fight the crowds or waste my time on.

In my opinion, I would rather spend the extra couple of bucks and avoid fighting the crowds and crazy shoppers who will be fighting over the last copy of "Grease" for 2.99

You know me too well Blu Titan!

By the way: I am jealous that you will be in nice warm Miami weather on Black Friday.

This will be me: Baby it's cold outside.
