Default Burn issues with GGW H20L

Hi, I am new on this forum, so sorry if I don't know the ropes yet.

I have had no success at all burning any BD-R, or BD-RE using Power DVD (bundled with burner). A few have burned, most just hang there for ever in mid burn..more than 15 hr.
Thise that have burned can be read in burner/player, but not on either samsung or sharp players.

Any suggestions would be most helpful and appreciated.

using Vista for OS

Did you make sure you updated the firmware on your LG burner ? I have been using Nero 8 with the Bluray addon without any issues, burns BD-R as well as BD-RE trouble free for me, I have yet to use the included software...All discs play perfectly in my PS3...Also Pinnacle 12 as well as Sony DVDA 5 Pro all burn the Bluray Media Fine with the LG Burner....I have yet to burn a single coaster.....I have tried to play the burned discs in 3 of the players at my local Sears and none would see the disc, could be the fact that they need to update the Firmware...
