Just an FYI, but the A630 has a frame that is similar to the 750s, meaning it has clear in the bezel and is a bit thinner than the 650s. Im not sure if its the exact same case as the 750s, but its very close.

I'm interested in the 750 model but not sure when I can pull the trigger. Far too many other more important things like bills and daycare. The 850 would be nice but mine would go in one of those entertainment centers that has the towers on either side of the TV so the thinness would be lost on me.

I imagine any TV would be a great upgrade from my 51" ultravision RPTV.

I have a 52 inch sharp for past year and when i saw this new 55A950 my jaw dropped so i did some research and found out its the best tv out there... some ppl think the xbr8 from sony is but i saw that and yes its better then my Sharp lol but compared too 950... it wasnt better especially for the extra 2k for no difference at all lol... Tomorrow i get my new TV YAY

Same here. I'm waiting for a sale or significant price drop and I'll likely pick up the 46 or 52' model. I like the thinner bezel/case it has (similar to the 750) and could go either way on the gloss screen debate.

I have the 46" A630 and I love it. I found some good settings over at AVS forums and the picture looks phenominal using my PS3 to watch blurays, also the LG upconverting DVD player looks great especially LOST it looks like HD. I was on the fence between the 650 and 630 but i have to many windows for the 650. I think its a better looking TV than the 650 to, I like the square base and TV is thinner and made completely of the piano black finish not just the frame.

Nice to see some info on the A630. I have been torn over the A650 or A630 but the extra glossy screen of the A650 wont work with my current room large window behind my viewing seat. I have seen usually the A630 about $200 cheaper then the A650, Whats the main difference between the two? All I can see is the following,

Contrast Ratio: 40,000:1 (A630) vs 50,000:1 (A650) that extra 10,000 is probably the glossy screen correct?

HDMI ports: 3 (A630) vs 4 (A650) but if I am using a receiver, with HDMI slots, then this is really irrelevant correct?

Bezel: Piano Black Bezel (A630) vs Redish Bezel (A650)

What about the A750? how does it stack up vs these two models? A630 and A650, what does it have that they don't besides the built in memory drive, holding stock, weather reports, and recipes etc.

I was dead set on the A600 series, but then I stumbled across the A950 at BB the other day, and man what a TV!!!! amazing quality, picture is superb, extra extra extra thin bezel and screen. I don't know if I can justify the price tag, is LED the future, and is it a safe bet to be looking into the 950, even at its outrageous price tag.

Reminder, I am coming from a 52" Toshiba DLP (720p) (4 years old) (hence the upgrade) However I still think gives you the best blacks in the business.

Any info greatly appreciated.

Your correct on your info between the 630 and 650. You lose 1 hdmi input(which didn't matter to me either because im using a Onkyo 606) and 10,000 in contrast but i don't see any difference between the two. The 630 does have the touch of color red but its not as prominate as the 650. Also the price of the 630 is sometimes higher than the 650 like right now on amazon it is about 40 bucks higher. From the research i did it doesn't seem like there is much difference between the 650,750,850 as far as picture just functions. If I had the money i would get the 950 but the price tag as you said is a little steep for me.

I'll write them down when i get home tonight and post them tomorrow morning for ya. Yeah it made a world of difference when i played around with some of the settings for that were posted over at AVS. As a matter of fact heres the link http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showt...msung+lnxxa630 I just printed out the all the pages and read through them later at home and tried out the settings people listed. I think i'm using the one nearest to the end with a few things changed.

Well its tax season again and I'm looking forward to purchasing either the 52" 650 or 750. I've looked at numerous sites trying to compare the two, but they seem identical as far as features go. Is there any differences between them?
