Harmony 890 - Blu-ray Forum

Are there any deals for the Harmony 890 currently? I have looked at a few deal sights but the lowest I can seem to find is $250ish. I was going to get it from Best Buy a couple of weeks ago when they had it for $199 but it was OOS. Hoping to get it under $200 but see that at times people can get it for around $150.

Why the 890? Do you need the RF? If not, I'd suggest the 880 or the One.

I actually have the 880 but will be moving all of my equipment into a closet so I will need the RF capabilities.

Good choice, then. I just got the 880 before Christmas for $80, and I love it! Much better than the 670 it replaced.

No. However, you can somehow use the Nyko Blu-Wave to make it compatible. I am not familiar with the process, although I am interested in trying it with mine. It would certainly be nice to be able to control everything with one remote. I did hear that you still can't turn the PS3 on or off with it though.

Check Circuit City if you have one nearby. Mine was loaded with 880s, 890s, and Ones last weekend, and with the liquidation process going on, who knows how good of a deal you can get now.
