onkyo 805 and harmony 890 - Blu-ray Forum

anyone have the harmony 890 with the onkyo 805? i cant seem to get the harmony to switch modes on the onkyo (like dvd, vcr/dvr). i have everything going through the receiver using hdmi. blu-ray is on dvd, cable dvr is on vcr/dvr etc.. not sure if there seems to be a need for a delay or something. any ideas?

Did you ever get it fixed? I have an 880 coming it and I'll be trying to use it with my Onkyo TX-SR805.

I have two 880's and they work fine with my 805. I have never had any problems with any commands from the 880. I sheldom use the remote that came with the 805.

Excellent news - I just got a refurbished 880 from Amazon's Gold Box for $69.

I can't wait to show the wife how easy it will be. She can use all 5 remotes right now just fine and can change everything manually as well on the receiver between sources, but she does hate having all those remotes.
