Yup.

We've been seeing that for months anyways with all the "former" HD-DVD fans suddenly becoming "format neutral" people, some more begrudgingly than others.

..I heard where Paramount is coming from and the future of HD and players that will be close to the $200 mark which is the magic number. I like what I heard.
Will Mr. Bay be returning to Blu-ray support now?

So yes, it appears that the current rumor is $200 Blu-ray players from China at Walmart. It would certainly make things interesting (not to mention completely nullify Paramount's "cheaper players" comment).
LOL, come on some people still did not get it!

In case anyone is confused (I certainly was), this refers not to "beatboy77" Josh but "Josh" Josh. This is the hot item:

"National Lampoon's Vacation is a great film. I watched it exclusively with around 20 friends. That must have saved us nearly $199.00 as compared to what it would have cost to have gone to the movies to see it. "

Obviously, Walmart being exclusive would be awesome. Vacation was a Warner Brothers titles, though. The fact that a Senior VP at Warner who ws in love with HD DVD stepped down today has many wondering if that isn't part of the equation. Maybe $199 players at Walmart, and Warner is going exclusive?

Or, maybe I'm just wishing for WAY too much.

It's also true that they announced HD-DVD support first and BD support after that, but still before either one launched.
exactly why would WB defect when they are currently selling 2to1 in sale of disc's over HD DVD. that makes no sense at all
