Sony BDP-S3000 - Blu-ray Forum

Hello everyone i am fairly new to the board. So please bare with me. i own a Sony BDP -S3000 Blu-Ray Player. A 46 inch Sony Bravia KDL-46z4100 LCD, a Yamaha RX-v861 Reciever and a pair of mirage speakers. I have been using this site to look for up coming blu rays and reviews on them. I am not to sure on how good my setup is or anything like that. But i recentley bought the Xmen Trilogy and my blu ray player would not even load the movie at the main menu so i did the update, same way i did it the frist time. And now when i watch any movie on it i get pixels on the faces. it happen once or twice while watching xmen but when i watched Halloween it was happening quiete often. Any ideals on why this happend. i can only guess it is the firm ware. Any comments or help please....

Sure you don't mean BDP-S300??

sorry my fault yes a BDP -S300, however i went out and bought a S350. but i am having the same problem i am getting pixilation in the faces. and i even tested it out on my PS3 and again the same problem. i am not sure why it is doing this and if anybody can help me out please ... help ....
