You would think though that if it is a blu announcement then we would already have gotten some leaked info from insiders or atleast hints to it. Will probably be about the live action series, a new series, or a new game.

Do you talk to your shrink on how Lucas changed a product he created to the way he original saw it but did not have the budget?

I don't know if Star Wars is coming to Blu-ray, but when it is announced, expect it to come out of nowhere. George Lucas controls these releases entirely, unlike the situation with most movies where the studio executives get to decide. There will be no "leaks" ahead of time with a release like Star Wars on Blu-ray unless those executives want to lose their jobs.

I wouldn't count on it guys. Star Wars took so damn long to come out on dvd. I'm pretty sure we can expect the same for blu-ray. If anything we'll get 3d releases first and then bluray. And even that is light years away.

In a final move of George Lucasness, he announces that he will release them on Blu-ray 6 months apart from one another in the following order - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. Audiences will get to delight in Jar Jar's voice in high-definition audio and see the fine details in Watto's skin for the first time!

Please go away with that comment. He has changed his mind 20 times in 20 different interviews. He didnt see it that way backl then, thats just what is has said in a few interviews. He has also saod other than some effects he would not have changed anything. Better go brush up on Lucas's lying history. The guy flys by the seat of his pants on everything he does....oh are we back to this debate again how he should be responsible for what he puts out?

I don't care which version they are, as long as it's all 6 movies with excellent transfers for a reasonable price, oh say $100? I love Star Wars and I want to be able to enjoy them in the best possible manner, hence blu-ray.

You still didn't answer the question. They are his movies and he can do what he pleases with them. I am sure the people down the street from you did not cry rape when you traded your last car in. So he changes his mind, deal with that. Hearing anyone cry That someone raped my childhood because they added a scene (Jabba The Hutt was original in Star Wars but was cut) or added special effects is sad. When i see a movie from my childhood, I have the memory of seeing that movie for the first time. No matter what Lucas, Speilberg, Cameron, or anyone does to a future release of the film can't take that away.
