Default Polk CS1 vs. RC1 vs. TC2

I currently have a Polk CS1 and was looking for a slight upgrade. I am on a really tight budget and wanted to see if either of these speakers were good. I find that i cannot hear clearly hear dialogue spoken in movies without blasting the volume.

or

The Speaker Company - TC2 Center Channel Speaker

Thanks

what l/r fronts are you using? you definitely want to timbre match (voice match) your fronts with the center channel. if you're running the monitors, i would suggest you upgrade to the cs2. i use monitor 60's with the cs2 for center and have no trouble hearing dialogue.

in the meantime, you can try bumping up your center channel a couple db's through your receiver settings, if possible.

I have a cs1 and i have no problem with spoken dialogue. There is the occasional movie where the dialogue is soft, but I attribute that to the sound track. Have you tried boosting the center level to see if that helps?
