About 9-1/2' from [what will be] the 50" screen to my eyes.

12' from the 30" 1080i CRT in Family Room West...I'm freakin squinting until the V10 gets here.

Wow, 24 posts and nobody has added the famous distance/resolution chart! Well, I won't be the one to do it. For me, I'm about 11' from a 58" set. Works well for me.

Im about 13 ft from my 52'' tv but I plan to get a projector and get an 80'' screen so I should be fine

So far the average seating distance is 3.6 PH, which is like sitting in the last row (or farther back for Scope movies) of a theater following THX TAP recommendations.

If laying on the slacker sack - 7ft.. if on my sofa... 15 ft. I hate my living room.. need to get a tv stand instead of the entertainment center I have now and try to re-organize my living room.
