Default Any ideas what you think the Spiderman 3 sales will be?

I am guessing about 150,000 total compared to Transformers actual numbers of 115,000

I wonder if sony would include 40gb ps3 w/ spidey 3 blu ray sales numbers, or is it just the BD's alone?

They should not count PS3 included copies as they were give-aways.

No one considers Talladega Nights the best selling Blu Ray of all time do they?

The nielsen number will be out on Friday - remember as others have stated before the boxset counts as 3 since it contains 3 movies. Plus you have all the Spider-man 3's which also count towards the total number.

Each scan of a UPC is counted as 1, whether it holds 1 movie or 10.

Honestly I'm thinking that the UK system that they just adopted may be better. Only actual dollars collected are counted. So if you sell 30,000 of a $100 item, or 60,000 of a $30 item, the actual market impact is shown instead of just raw units

Can you buy the three SM movies separately on blu-ray? I'm not a fan of box sets. They don't fit well on my DVD rack.

not yet. The third is out (same time as the box) but the first two are not. The set has the same #3 (two disk set) but #1 and #2 are single disk. If I remember correctly when #1 and #2 will come out individually they will be two disk sets.
