Default Let's make Spider-man 3 Crush Transformers!

Though a small & short-lived victory for the red, HDDUD (Transformers) currently has bragging rights with the highest 1st day and 1st week sales in High Def. history...

Let's gear up and smash that stat way out of reach with Spiderman 3! I don't even have any player yet and I'm going to get Spiderman BD. Let's get the hype going now for Oct 30!

Will the sales of the Spder-man Trilogy and Spider-man 3 be added together when calculating the sales of Spider-man 3 itself?

Then we can gear up for POTC (AWE)!

Lets Hope Spidey 3 sells 500k on its first day of release on blu-ray. That was a milestone back in the day when the matrix was released on DVD and it helped shift DVD players. Lets hope Spidey can do the same thing for blu-ray and beat those HD-DVD crowd and their transformers movie, which bear in mind was really awful anyway!

The trilogy box set will dilute Spider-man 3 sales. Most people would rather buy the box set.

Looking back, Casino Royale sold 100,000 on day one all the way back in March, just 4 months after PS3 launch.

Now 7 months later with big PS3 and stand alone price cuts I don't think it's out of the realms of possibility why Sony can't push 500,000 box sets onto retailers for the US alone.

In fact if Paramount issues the 190,000 Transformer sales as world wide sales, could Sony pull 1,000,000 world wide Spiderman sales out of the bag?
