I was suprised this got a PG-13, seems like it's going to be rather tame

Here's hoping it can still be funny.

Yeah i hope so. I know Will can pull off PG-13 comedy but i prefer R. Maybe there will be an unrated cut on Blu later on.

Yeah, it's not like he's been in an Oscar winning movie that will mean he would have to give a good performance in like The Departed or anything.

I'm surprised it's PG-13...I thought for sure this was going to be one of their R-rated comics. This is kinda unfortunate, but I'm still looking forward to it, it looks funny

The PG-13 thing is ALMOST a deal breaker for me. I don't understand why it has that rating, the trailer has so much potential for a Talladega/Anchorman type comedy.

Well they were both PG-13 as well, so that makes sense.

To my knowledge most Will Ferrell movies come out unrated on Blu-ray and DVD. At least people that don't like this being PG-13 can wait for that.

The rating means nothing to me as long as it's funny and doesn't outstay it's welcome, unlike Step Brothers.

Yea, they both had unrated versions, but in their runs in theaters they were PG-13, so I'm not surprised this one is. Well...I actually am a little bit just because I thought it would be hard R over the top cop movie. But it still looks good so I'll see it

Exactly, thats why I was surprised that nobody else here seemed to remember this. The DVD/BD release will always be unrated but nearly always PG-13 in theaters.

Exactly. I'm not worried that it is PG-13 and not R. There's plenty of good comedies that aren't rated R.

I watched Breakfast at Tiffanys last night and found that funnier than nearly all comedys out this year.
