The only movie I bought that was a blind buy was "No Country For Old Men" and it was worth every penny of the 26.79 I paid for it.

My blind buys are:

3:10 to Yuma
Sunshine
Resident Evil: Extinction (had seen 1 & 2 though)
Lost: Season 3 (had seen 1 & 2 although season 1 was a blind dvd buy)
Rescue Dawn
The Departed
Ice Age: The Meltdown
Ratatouille

And if you include the ones that are part of my 5 free with PS3 purchase

Swordfish
American Psycho

What's odd though, is that I don't think I blind bought a single DVD movie (although a few TV shows)

My blind buys so far are: 300, 3:10 To Yuma, Black Snake Moan, I Am Legend, Ratatouille, Resident Evil Extinction and Revenge. Since I usually only go to the movies during the summer, a lot of my movies are blind buys.

When I was collecting regular DVDs, a lot of my movies were blind buys, and I never felt the need to watch many of them again. That said, I'm being a lot more cautious with my Blu Rays, usually renting them prior to buying. The only two I have bought blind are 3:10 To Yuma and NCFOM, both of which I liked a lot. I think I am going to blind buy TWBB only because I haven't heard anything bad about it.

I have 49 BDs and 43 of them are blind buys (88%). Very successful buys though!
It's been so exciting to watch a movie on blu for the first time. Oh yeah!!

Out of 110 titles, 79 were "true" blind buys. Only two of them so far have been awful enough to consider selling.

Of the remaining 31, I'd say about 20 were "myopic" buys - movies I'd seen before but for which I had little functional memory of the plot.

I would estimate 33% of my collection to be blind buys, and most of them have worked out great. I just made an order with Amazon and two of the three movies I ordered "Jailhouse Rock" and "Run Lola Run" are blindbuys. Some of the notable Blu-ray that I have in my collection that were blind buys include: Apocalypto, POTC At World's End, SM3, Live Free and Die Harder, Sunshine, 3:10 to Yuma, Ratatouille, The Shinning, Bullit, The Getaway, Black Book and may others
