Default Yet another question about Samsung Firmware - Oz style
... Firmware, Samsung and POTC.

I have just received both movies from the US Amazon site (region ABC rocks ), popped them in and ...... nothing

Yep, I need a firmware update .. now the twist ... I am in Australia and there is no firmware update on the Samsung site for the XSA model of the BD-P1000.

In ALL their marketing they were very happy to tell Australia that we did not need the update that the US player needed on launch. What they haven't told us is when the newer firmware updates are going to be available.

Is there anybody else in Australia in this situation? Thought I would ask politely before giving Samsung "Customer Service" a going over in the AM.
