Heh, pulled this off Kotaku just a bit ago:

"In May, Sony Europe boss David Reeves said the PS3 has now outsold the 360 in Europe. He said the PS3 had sold over five million units since launching in March 2007. And Microsoft Europe's David Gosen says he's lying. Speaking with MCV, Gosen says that the 360 has sold "well over" five million units in Europe, and goes on to boast "We are incredibly well positioned – our installed base in Europe is well over five million and contrary to what's been reported we are at least, if not more than, three quarters of a million ahead of PS3"."

Of course, Gosen doesn't factor in 2 IMPORTANT things: 1) The XBox 360 had about a year's headstart on the PS3 so the lead is not all that impressive and 2) Does his number include the RROD units? And notice how Gosen goes on to say that Reeves is "lying" yet you don't see mud-slinging from the Sony camp. Proof is in the pudding here...

Does that Live Gold number also include any people still running only the orginal Xbox? Or did they get cut off from Live?

but out of those, how many have mulitple accounts for the PSN? Is it counting machines or PSN user names?......I have 4 on my machine for certain purposes.....

I think they counted user names im not sure. but so what, xbox owners do the same thing, whats the big deal? it still got to 10 million right?

Look at my posts, I have never attacked the PS3 or said Xbox Pwns PS3. I own one, I use it and love it. I just use my 360 more for gaming, and XBL is at this point a far more robust system than PSN and thats not opinon but fact. It offers over 200 demos, Tons of hi def TV shows Movies and other things. And besides the way i stated it was my OPINON. I am allowed to like the 360.

Uh its a total fact of HOW MUCH content is on each. I never said it was MORE ENJOYABLE on the 360. Look up ROBUST, it dosn't mean right for everyones taste. Anyways, you have your opinon I have mine, I own every system out right now and play and love them all, That was just my opinon for PSN vs XBL, it wasn't trolling at all.
