Will they release individual BDs of Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2? - Blu-ray Forum

I want the Spiderman collection, Spiderman 3 came with my PS3 so i do not want to buy the trilogy because i already have 3 so will 2 and 1 come out or do i have to buy the trilogy?

Spiderman 1,2, and 3 are available on DVD already.

You can only get 1 and 2 on BD in the trilogy pack they aren't release yet as individual.

Yeah i know, but what i am asking is when or will 1 and 2 be available for blu ray individually (Not buying the trilogy)

Eventually perhaps. Try finding individual copies on eBay or on this trade forum on this site. You could sell your 3 and pick up the boxset.

And it's Blu-rays.

Actually it might just be cheaper to buy the Trilogy than looking for 1 and 2 individually also the 3 that you get in the trilogy is 2 disc where the one with the PS 3 is one.

I remember paidgeek saying on AVS last year that there would be special edition releases for both 1 and 2. He didn't give a time frame though.

if they were gonna be release as a single purchase. i think they would have done it by now.

No reason to.
You may have missed the recent murmors of rereleases for some titles, some upgraded and some just re-releases but Spiderman will be no different.
It is essentially considered a refresh release.

They weren't going to include all 3 in there, and SM3 was the movie they were pushing as the hot new release that people don't have

I guess thats why Gamestop as a billion of Spiderman 3. I was wondering why thats the only title they seemed to have.

Yea but including that movie in with systems really devalued the whole spiderman series on blu-ray. Prices plummeted on this one fast and S3 just doesnt sell for no more than 5-10 tops.kinda sad

. The trilogy lost value as well

If I remember correctly, S3 was released around the same time the 40GB PS3 hit shelves. Plus the Playstation 3 lettering on the front case of the console is the Spider-man font. But the pricing your talking about only effects sellers. Consumers like me enjoy price cuts.
