Blu is a NEW format.
When VHS tapes came out, I paid $95 for Return of the Jedi the day it was released.
When dvds first hit, they were at a premium as were laser disks.
Yet for some reason people want to forget the past because it makes their points seem rather weak.
A couple of years from now blus will be even cheaper but no, all of the whiny little bastards on these forums want it now, they want everything cheap because they have some odd belief that they are owed something.
YOU bought into blu ray, nobody forced you and you bought into it knowing the prices.
For the record also alot of those new release dvds that you speak of are the single disk versions with the two disk versions selling at a premium.
Thank you, Ooks! We may not always see eye to eye on some forum matters, but I stand staunchly behind you in agreeing with this principle!
