Sorry, but the resolution of those sets are 768 lines. A 720p signal will be scaled to the set's native resolution of 768 lines (same with sending a 1080i/p signal). It's no different than a 720p signal being scaled to fit 1080 lines on a 1080p set. Are you saying that you will only see 720 lines on a 1080p set? Where are these extra lines dissappearing to? My understanding of the whole process.
