Thumbs up Blu-ray has made a movie fan out of me!

Prior to Blu-ray I never owned more than about 20 movies. I always rented DVD's as I could rarely see the benefit of owning something that I knew I wasn't likely going to watch more than once.

The Blu-ray format has changed all of that for me. I can't say that I've viewed my entire BD collection more than once, but I have watched about a dozen of them several times. And I know I'll watch them again.

Having a pretty decent HT setup has obviously helped tremendously as well, but even if one didn't have that luxury, the BD format is so vastly superior that it has made a movie fan out of me.

What has been your experience moving into the Blu-ray format?

John
