It's true that if it is sealed, it can be labeled as never watched or "new," but even if it is sealed, there is risk of damage that can be hard to detect because it is sealed. I can understand the desire to collect something and keep it sealed. I have just had some experiences with buying dvds where the disc is intact and secure inside the case, and it is either not playable or is damaged.
Agreed. Also the fact that it is sealed sometimes makes it for difficult to spot defects like minor dents and scratches under that shrinkwrap.
