This has been released sooooo many times on dvd, it should be deemed the "Asian Terminator 2". There's a few different cuts, which I believe the longest is 91 minutes. I have the out-of-print Mega Star Hong Kong dvd release. It was recently re-mastered by Joy Sales (Hong Kong) that includes a Cantonese DTS track.

Also known as Riki-Oh: The Story Of Ricky here in the U.S., this has some of the most entertaining gratuitous gore I've ever seen. And with Shakespearean-type dialogue like: "You'll die mutilated today!" makes me wonder why this never won an Oscar.

I doubt the transfer would benefit on blu-ray, but who wouldn't want to see exploding heads in hi-def?
