MOCHA can be affected by poor stuff, and it's difficult to determine, even with traditional coax only service. And can be a bit sporadic.

The 6 estimate is on the 'long' side, while the 2 hr is closer to most common time frame.

I personally haven't heard of that sort of problem, but then again I don't really scour for them . The tech should be alot more able to help you out though, and at least the signal integrity.

One fun question though, you're not routing the coax through a UPS or anything like on your end right? That actually caused a problem for me with my traditional cable service dropping connectivity in high traffic.

Just an add on my comment with the surge stop, and the tech pretty much suggested that step which did fix it. I can imagine you still want to keep the coax under surge suppression though . Just something to test at least.
