Unfortunately, even if it does, it seems like most recent release games are excluded. I remember the ones I was eyeing last year weren't included anyway, even a couple that had been out for months. But it could depend on the developer.

What you have to do is fill your cart with everything you want and then see if anything is included that shouldn't be as soon as it strikes midnight Pacific. But you have to act fast. On the last B2G1, I didn't have a third movie to purchase after a bunch of titles I had set aside weren't included in the sale, and then a few minutes later they yanked Thunderbolts from the deal.

I'm at target right now. Someone must have had a change of heart. Saw 4 4k steelbooks. Stripes, Willow, Ghostbusters 1&2 and Small Soldiers back in the clearance section.

I wondered if they put them in a clearance section once I return them. What were the prices? |

After reading maverick's post, I can't blame them, if they've got very many customers who do the same. I don't mean to put maverick on the spot, as I can understand his motivations considering you can't buy hardly any movies in stores anymore, and the appalling negligence etailers treat packaging these days, as if they have absolutely no concern for customer satisfaction. But when you're getting a deal... It wasn't long ago that someone else was bragging about ordering 3 from amazon of every movie they bought, just to cherry pick the one they kept. I think it came out in the retailer section, when they were complaining about amazon not accepting returns from them anymore.

I personally never seen a scratch but time for Mexico who could care less about us to close down , I would do a petition to bring back a USA plant back even if discs cost more . All major labels need to get there shit together or do in house only . Europe and Australia still have great manufacturing plants , Why can't we ... Because the major labels want to pay people $4 bucks a hour to work .

There are also members that talk about ordering multiple copies of movies (or titles) to get over the min order for free shipping...with the intention of returning the other multiples or movie titles they didn't intend to keep).

When the day changed to Sunday, my Circle bonus was filled with free trials of everything Apple, all the same stuff they used to give out. Now they're gone. I go to Circle Partners and two Apple offers are there, but none of the others.

More likely, they got tired of being taken advantage of. All the abuses of liberal return policies that people virtually brag about exploiting from target and amazon, they used to do at BB too. Online returns you can usually blame on shipping or warehousing. But when a store has to enact such unfriendly, if not illegal return policies like BB has done, for products mostly purchased in-store, you know there's a serious problem. And we're starting to see amazon discourage returns too. I assume BB and walmart saw a lot of digital copy theft. And I can't remember all the posts I've read of people who didn't get a slipcover at amazon, so they stole one from their local BB, justifying it on the presumption that most people didn't care and that BB would still get their money selling it to someone else, since it was still sealed. Which doesn't appear to be the case. From what I've read, it's illegal for a retailer to resale even an unopened return as brand new. Which would explain all the unopened items in target's clearance section, their attempt to at least salvage some of their investment before selling them to liquidators for pennies on the dollar. As some store owners who post here have stated they have to eat returns of even damaged or defective product, as at least some producers won't take them back. Though, I would assume many now do, considering the volume of rewraps we see, which only the distributor can likely get away with. |
