Hello Todd - I should be getting ready to leave in a bit, as my niece is in the Lead role in a musical production of HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2 in Mass. -- Yes, seeing INCEPTION in IMAX was a Major case of with the Visuals, AUDIO (LFE Heaven!! ), & Original storyline. -- I'll get to the Last film in the DIRTY HARRY series in a day or so ("THE DEAD POOL") & of course, post a review.

Have a great day yourself buddy. Btw, watched BATMAN BEGINS myself a few months ago. That really Is a very good film also. Christopher Nolan is an amazing Artist.

Yea, I just read your post in his thread. That is my NEW Favorite Home Theater. I love the Size of it, the seating set-up (where he Could have had more, but chose not to, as 9 is plenty really), the Color Scheme, everything. I'd Love to watch STAR TREK, TDK, HULK, HELLBOY II, & TERMINATOR: SALVATION there, to name but a few!

Hey bud, thanks. I didn't start off with the intention of adding the Video clips for the quotes, but I found em' so decided to throw them in the review.

I see HANG EM' HIGH "is" out on Bluray but HIGH PLAINS DRIFTER is not. How was the "Hang Em' High" PQ & AQ?
I realize the name of the site is Blu-ray.com and all, but I have a pretty decent collection of DVD's . Both movies I watched were on that format. But still, watching them on my 983H is still quite a pleasure. The audio for both is Dolby Digital 2 channel mono. I'd like to see and hear what they'd do in the blu-ray versions.

Well, the REVIEW of the "Hang Em' High" Bluray gives pretty decent scores to this 40+Year Old movie (both PQ & AQ). I look forward to owning it myself.

Steve thanks for the recommendation on watching Inception at an IMAX theater. It was definitely worth it.

I am but a Vessel...

Glad you enjoyed it. Did the Audio (LFE) Rock your Seat as much as it did mine? The scene with Leo & Ellen Page, at the outdoor cafe (in the trailer we've all seen), when that is Unfolding & all the crap starts flying, was Unf---kin GODLY !!! It was like this x 1,000

I loved the LFE. I can't wait to get it on BD. It will be THE demo disc for LFE.

Sounds like you are really enjoying Dirt Harry. I am 2 deep in my set. Not watching them constantly. rented Clash of the Titans, It's Complicated and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. May get back to Harry on Wednesday. Love the soundtracks in the first couple Dirty Harry films, and Coogan's Bluff has a good soundtrack too.

I have most of Eastwood's stuff on DVD and a few on BD, Dollars Trilogy Pale Rider, much better than Hang 'em High. Watched the DVD of Hang 'em High the other month to see if I needed to replace it. Nope. It is.....mild, for an Eastwood movie. Reminds me of an older John Wayne film, not gritty enough.

One I'd like to see again, and I don't have the DVD, is The Beguiled.

Hell Yeah it certainly will be!! (I think that's what I said pretty much after returning from seeing it ). I want to see this again - in the same IMAX theater of course - for 2 reasons: 1) Cuz' it's a really good movie with dialogue that you Have to Pay Attn to, & 2) The AUDIO (& LFE) is the best I've seen since STAR TREK last year (in IMAX as well), & we all know what a Great AUDIO track that Bluray has...

I am def. enjoying them. It's been a while since I've seen some of them, the last 2 especially ("Sudden Impact" & "The Dead Pool"). I haven't seen PALE RIDER in Years, & not sure (shoot me now! ) if I've seen COOGAN's BLUFF (though I'm sure if I threw it in now, I'd remember it, or some scenes anyway). Same thing for THE BEGUILED. Been tooooo long since I've prob. seen that, or can even Remember if I did.

Pale Rider is one of my favorites. Such an improvement over the DVD.

I have not seen this movie yet and I also believe that 'Star Trek' is the best for home theater demo's. I was thinking that 'Iron Man 2' was going to take over as the LFE demo when it comes out.

I remember that one seriously pushing the sub at the IMAX, is this movie outdoing 'Iron Man 2'?

Cool, so the Bluray of PALE RIDER is that good huh? Nice. I'll get it eventually. Pretty much anything with Gene Hackman is usually a good bet.

You was Wrong son!! --- I saw IRON MAN 2 in Imax as well & while it did have a few very impressive LFE scenes (demo worthy/reference disc, etc.), I implore you to see INCEPTION at an Imax theater if one is close by. Then you too will see we are all not just blowing smoke you know where...

How's everything going HAMP? Any new updates/pics on the HT in the new place?

Yeah IMAX theater is a must for this movie. I'm not so sure if I went to the best non-IMAX theater and get the same satisfaction watching Inception.

Hello Todd, yes it was pretty good overall. Went to see my 13-yr-old niece in one of the Lead roles in "High School Musical 2" yesterday, then went with the family & my sister & her husband to a nice Italian restaurant after; had some great food. Got back a little after 8:30pm.

How was your wk-end, did you already watch another Blu' today?

I agree. But I still think the Audio will be Outstanding Demo-Worthy with some killer LFE reference scenes.
