Yesterday I finally got my system installed. I tried to wait for the pioneer bd but instead brought a panny. I have a pioneer pro 1540 60in plasma put on the wall with def tech surround sound. My receiver is the pioneere elite 82 series. I watched x-man 3 and my tv is not 1080p but it sure looked just as good. The sound was awsome. Why could I only hear sound when it was set to PCM? I will probably return the panny for the elite when it is available. I really couldn't see the diff between my tv and the pio-fhd 1080p. I am a begginer at all this tech stuff but pretty much know the basics.
