I seem to be having a HDMI/Handshake issue but it doesn't sound like it's nearly as bad as some of the ones described here.
Basically if I turn the PS3 on and just watch AVI's or stream content from my PC it's fine. But if I start up a game or Blu-ray (and it subsequently has to send out 5.1 audio of some kind) it goes into a kind of random flicker fit where my TV goes black/blue a dozen or so times before it finally settles down and will display the video/audio. It only recently started and it varies in intensity each night, but it's getting kind of ridiculous. Just wondering if this is something others have experienced or not? I haven't done any cable/device testing yet so it could be the TV or PS3 (or HDMI cables), but I'm leaning towards receiver anyway... |
