I'd really wait for the Panny DMP-BD50 set exhibited at CES...I think it is supposed to be released sometime in the spring. It is BD-Live prof.2.0 out of the box, and has the 7.1 analog outputs. It decodes every single advanced audio codec (even DTS-MA) internally so it will work with non-HDMI receivers, and it also supports the Deep-color and 24fps. It is more complete than any HD DVD player--it's just not quite available yet. Plus, its a Panasonic, and they make some pretty solid stuff. I have the BD10AK and love it.
