I'll go again, I had a Hitachi 1080i Plasma and it had really poor blacks and SD picture quality. I got my Sharp 1080p LCD and was amazed by the difference, colours were really good and blacks really really good!! Overall a lot more crisp and clear picture with the LCD. Just from set up though i have no idea which is better generally speaking.
