* Because it often uses Dialog Normalization, Dolby TrueHD is ranked below DTS-HD MA. DTS-HD MA also tops out at a theorectical maximum of 24.5 mbps vs only 18.0 mbps for Dolby TrueHD.

** Because of Dialog Normalization and lower bitrates (448 kbit/s) Dolby Digital 5.1 is ranked below DTS (768 kbit/s or 1536 kbit/s depending on the movie)
There is a lot of debate about dialog normalization and it apparently is present in DTS-MA -- just in a different way.

I agree with your analysis for the most part, I would say that on most movies and too most listeners with consumer level equipment:

Uncompressed PCM = TrueHD = DTS-MA

You forgot to mention Dolby Digital Plus (a very common codec on the HD DVD side -- less common in Blu Ray). DD+ and DTS-HD (Lossy) are probably about equal (although I have never seen a DTS-HD lossy track on a disc in any format).

DTS is the best of the old school formats (BTW -- several HD DVDs have DD+ and DTS at 1.5mbs -- i.e., Chronicles of Riddick and Interpreter, and most reviewers say that that DD+ beats regular DTS in depth and sound quality).

DD is the bottom as you say.
