The "extras" are on the main screen where you choose load game, new game, etc. There's one that says "extras". Go in there and there are three tabs. One of them should be for downloads.

If it's the face camo, it's just the face of them.

Order of preference:
1) Part 3 (Subsistance version)
2) Part 1 (a very close second) (Twin Snakes version)
3) Part 4
4) Part 2

This does not mean that any of them are bad, in fact they are all excellent games. This is just my order of preference.
hmm i liked 1 the best, then 4 then 3, but hey were all diff

The game does not go to any Alert mode without you triggering it. It will go to a Caution mode where they are looking for you. Also note that even if Alert flashes on the screen and then goes away, like someone sees you then you down them immediately, that still counts as an Alert.

They are called both, dwarf gekkos and scarabs. You can even see them hanging on one of the big gekkos during Snake's first time using Octocamo in the cut sceen...

and they are not very photogenic.

I think they are called "Irving" but most commonly referred to as Gekko in the game. At least the big ones. Maybe I will check the database.

I believe when Otocon first mentions them, he says Irving first, from then on out calls them Gekko until Act 4 when he says the place is crawling with Irving.

Edit: Just checked the Database, it says the Gekko were manufactured by AT under the project name "Irving." The little ones are Dwarf Gekko nicknamed "scarabs" for their form and movements.

Indeed, as I said, they, the little ones, are called both in game. But what I want to know is... where is the zipper?

Walk back down the hallway you entered the room from and camp back against that door and just let them come to you. Doesn't take long and they usually just pop out way down at the end of the hall (the center of the room) and you can solar gun them or tranq if you prefer and have enough ammo.

You shouldn't take much, if any, damage from them at all. You can even just sit there in a crouch and regain any health you lose before the next one even shoots at you.

Hey, it is 2014, Zippers are finally out of date. They have been replaced with a new tech, which has easier access in this case I hope, then a zipper or velcro could offer.
