It is possible to beat The Boss Extreme in a new game on your first play through. Someone else just has to beat the game before you to unlock the difficulty.

I have yet to try for the BBE. I just finished my Chicken Emblem last night. Got 17 emblems total on that run through, 14 of which were new for me.

Also those of you going for the BBE, I read on a GameFaqs walkthrough that what happens in the MGS1 flashback does not count. So any kills, alerts, deaths or time played does not hurt your chance of getting the emblem.

Alot of people now saying they are suspending their BBE run until new Firmware 2.4 come out with the new trophy system. How about some of you guys?

I just quickly finished the game again on liquid easy to get my game complete data back, finished the game originally on Solid Normal but unknown to me then that you must load the game complete save file & then get the new game on the difficulty you want to play again on so you have the FaceCamo & DP from before i stupidly did new game & overwrote the first game complete data lol

Won't be making that mistake again & will now wait for FW 2.4 before doing my BBE run in full now

Anyone else notice that when the girls in the game moved, their boobs jiggled for an unnaturally long time after each movement? Not that I'm complaining, it just made me laugh every time I noticed it

I finally beat this game tonight (not all of us have tons of time for gaming...) Awesome, I must say. That last fight blurred cinema and gaming so well, and looked awesome. Great game. One of the few I'm excited about playing again right after finishing. I also really want to play 1-3 again now. Kinda interested in unlocking the emblems, though seems it could take a while. Wonder if they'll be tied in with trophies? God, I'm not even the type to care about achievements and stuff. Just goes to show how awesome MGS4 was.

BTW, the Raging Raven, played by Yumi Kikuchi, is hot. Saw her in person in Osaka last weekend. Nice.
