Oof! I get why more insiders avoid this place!

I guess all you can say is, “Forget it, it’s Blu-Ray town.”

It's why I love when the insiders push back and get snarky in return.

The people who buy blu-rays from these labels always seem so entitled and accusatory when something goes wrong (in their mind, at least).

I agree! Especially when there is a genuinely polite way to ask! I think people should bring up concerns and questions about transfers especially if something looks different than previous releases! The vitriol and hate that some people immediately jump to here is crazy sometimes!

Beyond criticism. KL is unlike any other company. They exceed expectations both on quality and diversity of releases. I appreciate all they do for the betterment of classic film releases.

THE OUTER LIMITS (49 50-minute B&W episodes - scanned in HD from restored IPs) was expensive, but the SOTC restoration could potentially cost more. Two season on two boxed sets at $180SRP, compared to STORM one double disc Blu-ray at $40SRP - You do the math.

UP-resing the CGI bits may be the only option and it would look like crap.
I dunno man, as I’m sure you are well aware, complainers are always gonna complain, but there’s quite a bit of support for a restoration of SotC around these parts it seems. If labels like Scorpion and Synapse can get away with $50+ editions of 90 minute films that had no CGI work, I’d think Kino could do well with a $50 edition of a 4+ hour Stephen King (!) miniseries. But that’s me.

Never let the unreasonable, vocal minority win!

There are so many good films in this sale. I moved 57 titles into my cart, but I can't afford
them all. It becomes a question of which not to buy. I will have to move at least 37 into
the want list. Then make the agonizing decisions of which priority titles to buy and which
to cull out.

If anyone hasn't given Tell Them Willie Boy Is Here a try, this is your chance to pick it
up cheap. It's an important western and a hardboiled masterwork from writer / director
Abraham Polonsky. He sticks close to the historical accounts. One of the few great westerns
of the 1960s.

Ironically if Jules Dassin hadn't been blacklisted by HUAC in 1952 then that movie you mentioned (Rififi), which is universally considered to be one of the best heist movie ever made, would never have been made!

Also his run of pre-blacklist film noir films are pretty awesome too!

Brute Force, The Naked City, Thieves' Highway, Night and The City

Even by the insane standards of these forums these posts of yours, both in tone and content, make you sound like an absolute maniac. You’re even attacking the guy who told you about the t-shirt colour to begin with.

I believe they do 50% off twice a year, and with their whole catalog minus anything from the previous three months. Severin also does 50% twice a year I believe and also offer free Shipping to Canada on any orders over $150 before the savings.

I think we could offer free shipping if our sale prices were 50% off at $39.95SRP.

I own a great HDTV version shown on German TV and Bronsonīs T-shirt is dark blue. You can clearly !!!!! see that.

Itīs a fact that Bronsonīs T-shirt is dark blue and not black.

Another disappointing release of you. But the worst thing is that you told us that the picture quality would be very good.

I have no words.
Oh boy, if only that were true.

This. It's been ridiculous. I say have at them. Either complaining about sales because the title they expect isn't in it though there are plenty of other great titles at great plrices or they want a movie on Blu-ray but expect it no matter the cost to KL. If they were to get it they would just wait for a sale anyway. Constant transfer complaints. A ton of experts on here on what things should cost and look like. Bah, this is why I like animals more than people.

Don't worry about these comments about free shipping to Canada- Vinegar Syndrome charges Canadians for shipping during their sales. They only offer free shipping at their regular prices once the $100 order threshold is reached.
