Can anyone share any thoughts on Kill A Dragon? I thought I had seen this, but I guess I haven't after doing more research. It has Jack Palance, but just wondering how is the film overall?

If we're not releasing The Long Riders and The Thomas Crown Affair on 4KUHD, why would you think we could release Electra Glide in Blue?
Gotcha. That makes sense.

Is Paul Newman’s Nobody’s Fool on Blu-ray coming as part of your deal with Paramount?

Many of us certainly hope so, but the KLI typically won't answer about specific films.

I also do not have a 4K setup yet but I have already started buying 4K + Blu-ray combo packs if the price is just a few dollars more.

I bought and watched For Those Who Think Young and they devote a lot of running time to his stand up routines and they were not even remotely funny. What's even worse, in the movie it's the college kids that go crazy over his material which is tailor made for a bad Vegas act for half drunk people over 60.

However seeing Ellen Burstyn with a sizable role from 1964 was great.

Almost bought it, before I realized it's the same film as Ebony, Ivory & Jade. I still have my DVD of this, and yet to watch it.

Almost watched this last night as the second half of a double bill.

I'd heard about how much of the film's focus is on that actor and the stand up routines. I was disappointed initially that it apparently wasn't the 60's youth appeal film I'd thought it was based on the title, cast and era.
Now I'm just curious to see how bad a misfire it is.

But the thing that put me off last night was the run time. I didn't want to sit through 100+ minutes when a heavy portion of it is a bad nightclub act.

Whenever I watch it, it will probably have to be the first feature of the night, when I have energy and time left afterwards for something more satisfying as a capper.

It is fascinating to see how the college kids react to his material...I kept saying to myself "WHY ARE THEY LAUGHING???!!!" Of course they are actors, but it the disconnect makes it almost a fantasy film.

I thought he was going to be a hip comic like Lenny Bruce but he is the complete opposite.

I totally agree that they gave that Woodbury guy way too much screen time. I looked him up on IMDb and apparently he had several successful LP albums that included 'blue' material in the vein of Redd Foxx but of course, in 1964 the studios still operated under the Hays Production Code so he had to clean up his act. However, in my opinion at least, anything with gorgeous Pamela Tiffin more than makes up for having to endure the crummy lounge act. She and Darren were also paired up previously the same year in Jack Arnold's The Lively Set from Universal which is a much better film.

Coming August 16th!
https://www.kinolorber.com/product/t...-a-way-blu-ray

They Went That-A-Way & That-A-Way (1978)
• Theatrical Trailer
• Optional English Subtitles

Color 95 Minutes 1.85:1 Rated PG
Comedy legend Tim Conway (The Apple Dumpling Gang, The Private Eyes, Dorf on Golf, TV’s The Carol Burnett Show) and Chuck McCann (C.H.O.M.P.S.) break out the laughs as two dipstick deputies who go undercover in a maximum-security prison. But when the only man who knows their true identities croaks, these jailbirds hatch a zany plot to fly the coop—and discover that sometimes even justice needs a little correction! Bursting with boisterous sight gags, slapstick buffoonery and a wild finale, this madcap caper is so comical…it’s criminal! Co-starring Reni Santoni (Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid), Richard Kiel (The Longest Yard), Lenny Montana (The Godfather), Dub Taylor (Gator), Grace Zabriskie (TV’s Twin Peaks) and Sonny Shroyer & Ben Jones (Enos & Cooter of TV’s The Dukes of Hazzard), They Went That-A-Way & That-A-Way fires off hilarity in all directions—this-a-way, that-a-way and the Con-a-way! Screenplay by Tim Conway (The Prize Fighter) and co-directed by Stuart E. McGowan (The Billion Dollar Hobo) and Edward Montagne (The Reluctant Astronaut).

Awesome!

I wonder if the other half of MGM's Tim Conway double feature DVD is coming too?

Could the sole 1986 film in the MGM deal be The Longshot?
