Given the Paramount deal, I will sleep outside Amazon's warehouse the night before it streets if Kino is doing the disc.

Can you post a link? The one I'm seeing on Amazon prime is the old transfer.

EDIT: It does say UHD and X-Ray (no idea what that means) however, it's still the old transfer/master.

X-Ray is the thing that tells you whos in the movie while the movies playing, like if you pause it while watching you'll see a cast list

Yeah, I ended up click it while it was playing. Still, weird that it says UHD when it's clearly the decade old master.

Sudden Impact does feel like it is more about Sondra Locke, but I think it is still a decent film. Dead Pool is more forgettable. The stuff with Clint and Patricia Clarkson kind of drag it down some.

BRAVO. Just watched this masterpiece. Some filmmakers just operate on a higher plane. Kautner and his work should be far better-known then he currently is.

Kino is fast-becoming my favourite label - not ideal really, as I've never been near the United States in my life.

It's a 4K Scan of the original camera negative, but not a full HDR 4K master. The difference in cost is around $12K-$15K.

And we will continue to release Blu-rays from new 2K and 4K scans.

If we're not releasing The Long Riders and The Thomas Crown Affair on 4KUHD, why would you think we could release Electra Glide in Blue?

I don't think MGM has an existing HD master since all streaming versions are a SD 4:3 master. Doesn't say this is a new transfer unless you can confirm MGM did make one very recently.
