I've watched that movie at least a dozen times and never got that impression - I'm going to rewatch it in the morning when I get home, not saying you're wrong but I just didn't see that in the movie at all

EDIT just did a quick Google for the plot of both versions of the movie and the book and nowhere is it mentioned that Creasy is the child's Father - I think you may have this movie confused with another...
